The mainstay of Roman military; Roman Legionaries were well armed and exceptionally trained soldiers. They were given great incentive to enter and remain in military service with promises of wealth and lands. The legionaries trained as a unit, able to form shield walls and become almost impervious to enemy missile fire. The pilum was a highly effective weapon for disrupting enemy charges and is just as deadly in SPQR.
Contains 12 plastic models and SPQR revised edition legionaries card.
Models supplied unassembled and unpainted

These are good models that go together with ease. Although limited for posing they create a good unit. My only issues were, if armed with their gladius rather than pilum, much like the similar units just armed with Gladius, they still appear to have an extra gladius in their scabbard, that really should be empty.
You could cut some of these off, but not all without re-sculpting with green stuff. Its a shame they were not sculpted so the scabbard could be empty or not.
This matter is not huge as luckily the Scutum or shield hides much of the model. I did find the decals a bit of a chore to add on, luckily you get more than you need, allowing for you to make the odd mistake. You also get a few extra bases for your money.
I was looking for roman minis and found these, they are great! there kinda squat but that just adds to the charm. 10/10 would buy again.
