Most of my gaming pieces for Bolt Action are Tamiya 1/48 models, so I'm used to more complex models. It's rare to see interior details on this level from a Warlord/Italieri vehicle, and it is VERY impressive that we can build both Semovente and M13/40 variants from this kit. However, it does make for a complex kit that may be a bit too tedious for some. The main problem I have with this vehicle kit is that the housing for the upper chassis comes in 4 parts that must be assembled in a lean-to style fashion. They do sit snugly on eachother during this process and it's not the worst lean-to assembly ive done on a model kit, but it may frustrate less experienced model makers. For me, it wasn't too bad, and after assembling my first vehicle I did the second in half the time once I knew the process. I'm very happy with the detail and crew that come with this kit and would recommend it to any Italian players if you have experience building armor kits.
