Libyan Army

The barbarian tribes of Libya formed the chief western threat to Egypt throughout much of its early history. The Libyans allied with the Sea Peoples to attack Egypt in the time of Rameses III. The Libyans themselves were not hugely dissimilar to the Egyptians in terms of their skin tones – they were probably the autochthonous Berbers of north Africa.
