It’s fitting, then, that he appears from a long absence in the range now, with Epic Battles: Zulu! pre-orders now underway.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAlthough ordered by King Cetshwayo not to attack outside of Zulu lands, after Isandlwana (where he commanded the Undi Corps in reserve), Dabulamanzi led his men against the British forces at Rorke’s Drift - what happened next is, of course, the stuff of legend. After Rorke’s Drift, he would command the Siege of Eshowe and the Zulu right flank at Grigindlovu. Despite the defeats he suffered, he remained staunchly loyal to his King (and subsequently his heir) until his death at the hands of Boer mercenaries in 1886.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe half-brother and lifelong ally of King Cetshwayo once served as a special figure in our range, but now he’s back to serve as a Soldier of Fortune.
